Out of the Wings Worldmaking on Stage Forum 2026

Actualizado: 27 jun

Join us on Tuesday, July 14 for the opening event of the 2026 Out of the Wings Festival: the Worldmaking on Stage Forum.

On the theme of Theatre Translation Networks in Building Acts of Worldmaking, the Forum will take place at King's College London and is free to attend (register here).

At the Forum, we will bring together practitioners and researchers — actors, directors, producers, literary managers, commissioning editors, dramaturges, writers, translators, research students, theatre translation trainers, theatre translation lecturers, and academics — to engage with ideas on how we create international networks around the collective work of theatre translation. What happens in the often-conflictive spaces we create to transcend, for example, boundaries between language, cultural and geopolitical contexts?

The Forum will be held at Bush House at King's College London's central London campus, commencing at 10:00 a.m. Click here to register for the Forum free of charge.
